I bought this watch on a special offer deal to add to my collection due to its looks more than anything which made it great value and a lot of watch for the cost. There are no instructions for it with the watch but these are easily found online via YouTube and once known are easy to remember. It is a good sturdy robust watch heavy with a good size and weight even for relatively big wrists and hands and looks smart yet rugged. The temperature gauge is inaccurate while being worn due to the transfer of body heat but if left off it will soon settle and be within a few degrees of accuracy. I found the tide gauge to be rather hit and miss to be honest but then if you really require a watch for tide times you wouldn't be buying this as that feature is more of an added gimmick . That aside I think it's a great watch and would recommend it

Function button for temperature fell out after a few months I sent it for repairs when I got the watch back the strap broke I returned it again Im waiting to receive the watch back apart from that great watch watch good looking item maybe I was just unlucky I would recommend this watch

This is a fantastic time piece. I have worn it everyday day since I have bought it and I am a man of many watches, very many watches. The compass work perfectly. The back light is bright enough to see at night. The leather strap is not too hard and breaks-in in a couple of days. Its not too heavy to wear all day long. I really have nothing negative to say about this time piece, honestly.

Very pleased with the watch, its a little on the bulky side but exactly what was wanted, love the fact it lights up, instructions would have been handy, had to look them up on the internet once received easy to understand.

As an avid surfer but a boardroom warrior by day, I was looking for a tide watch that also looked stylish for business. When the watch arrived from UK to Australia just four days after ordering, I was even more impressed with the look and style of the watch than the pictures showed online. What drew me to this colour instead of black was it looked less busy. Setting up the tide times was super simple. For the size of the watch it is surprisingly light. In fact it doesnt weigh much more than the plastic/silicone RipCurl tide watch I replaced. The screw type strap fixing rather than pins makes me feel a lot better about wearing it in the surf. The one feature that could be improved a little is the time hands to stand out a tad more. All in all Im absolutely stoked. Its a beautiful watch at a great price.

I already have a tissot touch which has the compass but no tide info so this was a bargain.
Strap is a bit thick and not supple but might get softer over time. Hands take a bit of getting used to in dull situations or with backlight on.

A great watch that does everything it claims to do. Looks bullet proof and because I will be using it only to fish at night the indiglo night light will be superb.

Excellent piece - its a compass, thermometer, calculates the tide times even miles from the nearest sea and it also manages to give me the time of day.

Purchased this watch some time ago for my husband and is very well liked by my son so purchased for Xmas the watch stands out from others because of its light coulered face features compass and tides which is useful as we enjoy water sports and boating the watch has quite a large face easy to read and comes with nice suede strap instead of the usual black leather or steel bracelet

Quality watch

While the service from from Watch Shop was excellent, the watch itself has a few problems: 1 The leather strap is very cumbersome to open & unlock. It is very stiff and hard. 2 The time hands are not easily visible in low light.

This product has a comforting weight and density to it. I never feel like I have to worry about the occasional knock or scuff. Rotary dial has a nice action and the buttons are satisfying to push. Features all work well.

The only slight downside is that as the pads of the buttons overhang the stems slightly they get caught easier when ferreting about in bags or pockets.

Overall good weight, style and performance, would recommend.

The watch aesthetically is really nice, it looks like a serious watch but is also classic in style and sufficiently chunky.
The functions all perform very well and were easy to set up. The watch and strap seem very robust however my first issue is with the strap. The strap is quite thick leather, obviously of very good quality & strong but due to its stiffness it is very hard to undo and rolls of the top of the wrist so the watch doesnt sit correctly.
My only other issue with this watch is that the hour and minute hands are hard to see in daylight, the face is busy so the hands get lost!

I read previous reviews about this watch and they are correct. The photo does not do it justice....it is such a nice watch. Everything works as it should and the build quality is fantastic. The strap is really nice but will wear somewhat due its swede type finish...to me though that will just make it look cooler.

The strap is a paler colour than it looked in the photo, but other than that I am very pleased with the watch. I purchased it as a gift for my brother, and he is thrilled with it. He wanted a sailing watch, and I looked at a number of watches that were more expensive, but still had the same features. Im glad I settled for the Timex. Its a good looking watch. Has the sailing features I was looking for at a great price.

The Timex watch is great to use and look at, it feels solid and well built and the indigo truly makes night time viewing easy. I would recommend this watch as a good outside watch with the built in compass.

An excellent watch with good feature including an accurate compass. The backlight illuminates the face completely.

A stylish and practical design shock and water proof that holds its own indoors.The easily read dial Illuminates to an indigo blue to shine at night, helpful for those who suffer from certain sight issues. The soft leather strap with its oblong secure fitting holds position comfortably. The inner dial font is small as is the instruction manual plus too many languages in one place makes it cumbersome but once mastered the settings are easily adjustable. The compass is a delight and its best additional feature by far. Certainly a watch that is well worth the price...reasonable, and a must for those who walk and a need a sturdy time piece.

Bought for son who sea fishes from beaches. First impression was that I thought watch looked very large, but when my son is wearing it, it looks fine. The temperature picks up your body temperature which is not a surprise, but does register surrounding temperature if watch is taken off. My son is very pleased with this watch and all its functions. He has only had it for a few days, but hope it will give a long reliable service.

This watch is stunning in the flesh and the cream face really makes it look interesting and stylish.
The only issue we are struggling with is the instructions do not show how you use the tide time feature so we are currently trying to work this out! Other than this very pleased.

Overall extremely happy with this. It looks and feels good. Second hand doesnt quite line up with minute markers. Not a big problem but can be a bit frustrating.

As a windsurfer, the watch incorporated all the functions I required ie tide/ compass/temperature- wish it could have calculated wind strength as well !!!
