The watch is good value. It has roman numerals, which somehow suits the style of the pocket watch better than other watches with roman numerals. The size is slimmer and slightly smaller than the half-hunter watch in the same price range by Sekonda. It is an ideal watch for use on a special occasion, such as a wedding and there is space on the front to have the initial of the groom engraved, which is exactly what I did. It is also a good place to start for those thinking to try pocket watches on a regular basis, because the full-hunter style means that the glass would be covered if one were to land on it some how and its size would sit unobtrusively in the pocket. I think it is easily opened with the thumb, if held in the right hand, or with the middle finger, if held in the left like I do. I use the half-hunter by Sekonda every day and hopefully this will get my friend into wearing one too.

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas as he said he would love to have a pocket watch ,his face lite up when he opened it ,it looks more expensive in the real than it really is at only 26pound it was a real bargain.

This watch is brilliant. I purchased it for my husband who has eyesight problems. The face is really clear. The case is really pretty and well made. The watch is a good size and weight. He is very pleased with it and so am I. This watch is not expensive and looks, and feels, much better than I expected for the price.

Bought as a special gift for someone and was well received.It is a classic style and has a quality feel to it.I especially liked the style of the clock face.I wasnt as keen on the ornate cover but that is just a matter of preferance.Overall good value for money and i was very happy to give as a gift.

A very beautiful pocket watch. Not plain, but not too fussy. Very nice engraved design on cover. Easy to read dial, and opens easily. Presented well in a lovely box. Extremely good value for money.

Had been looking for a pocket watch for sometime, then found on line this fantastic site, I ordered my pocket watch on boxing day & it came two days latter which although I had paid for next day delivery I thought this was a great service for the holiday period. As for the watch it is around a wrist watch size and a lovley little thing, people always coment about it. The cost was not huge meet my budget spot on. Service was first class even over the christmas period it still got to me with in two days.The watch is about the size of a wrist watch to give an ider on size as hard to tell, it is well made lovely and well made just what i was looking for, every one who has seen it is inpressed, great service great watch.
