Fantastic piece, glad I opted for the 38mm version.

Seems excellent so far. Strap is better quality than I expected. (I was going to change it straight away but I'm going to keep the stock black leather on for a while.)
Accuracy is amazing... after 5 days has only lost around 2sec!

The watch is the same but I believe the movement inside the watch is different meaning that it has the newer H10 and not the older version that I picked. But still happy with it.

This watch is perfect for someone with smaller wrists, very classic design that is functional and legible. great everyday wear and nice and thin, mine is accurate to about +3 seconds a day and this thing will work with just about any strap, although i highly recommend an olive nato that being said the strap that comes with the watch is one of the best Ive seen on a watch of this price point. HIGHLY recommend the hamilton khaki 38.

Smart classic watch

Before I purchased this watch, I was concerned I may find its 38mm case a little too small. When the watch arrived, however, I realised this would not be a problem. Compared to something like a Seiko SNK809, the lug-to-lug distance makes the watch feel and wear larger than it actually is. In my opinion, this is a good thing.

I love the overall design. I think the sub-minute markers give a really nice finish, and the watch is easy to read in all conditions. The only thing I did not like about this watch was the strap. The leather is very thick, and although it mayve been nicer over time, I found it quite uncomfortable to wear. I quickly changed the strap for a nylon strap, and never looked back.

The movement keeps time relatively well for an automatic I find the watch gains a consistent 5 seconds per day when worn around 16 hours a day, and left face up at night.

In conclusion, this is a great watch, and I would recommend to anyone looking for an automatic field watch.

Quite a small faced watch and not one for someone of average of large sized wrists. Ideal gift for someone with a smaller build. Looks very sharp and exactly what the recipient wanted.

Superb plain in best possible way watch thats the right size for smaller wrists. I spent some time looking for something that had a self winding mechanism that was suitable for day to day use as well as black tie and this fits the bill on all fronts. Seems to keep time accurately so far. The only tricky bit was getting the date to tickover correctly, but figuring it out wasnt too difficult Ill leave that as something to let you get to know your watch rather than give the game away!.

No buttons, bezels, chains or extra dials here then. The UK is a field type watch, functional and sturdy enough, one would imagine, to stand up to a fair bit of disrespect. Solid of construction, the 38mm model has a reassuring, masculine weight to it without being at all bulky. The winder is oversized in comparison to the proportions of the case, not unlike that on a pilot type watch. Its a striking look.

The handsome, stitched, black leather strap on my item has a subdued, well-nourished gleam. The plain, steel case is polished but not glitzy.
Under the shallow dome of the crystal, the clear, dark face shows both the twelve hour and twenty four hour clocks with the seconds arranged, in much smaller digits, around the rim. Luminosity is impressive. There is a small, date window set at 1500 hrs. The Khaki is tough and distinctive enough to wear with casuals or even fatigues yet sufficiently discrete and unfussy that it wouldnt look out of place peeping from beneath the crisp cuff of a dress shirt worn with your favourite suit.

And, next time you happen to see old, newsreel footage of battle action in WWII, try to catch a glimpse of the watch on the wrist of the artillery man. Its likely that it will resemble a Hamilton. Its clear that during development of the Khaki, the designers managed to successfully apply the exacting standards demanded for generations of military timepieces to modern, production techniques. Consequently, Great attention has been paid to ensurIng the accuracy, reliability and ruggedness of the finished article.

I have thin 6.5 inch wrists and this 38mm beauty fits me perfectly. A solid, stylish, day-to-day watch which is easy to read with a nice sweeping second hand with a red arrow.

Although this is a mans watch, It was bought for my wife who had difficulty reading her smaller Oris watch in certain lighting conditions, chiefly indoors. It has a clear face with good contrast between the background colour and the numerals. She still needs to don her reading glasses to make out the date however but this is common to most watches unless you get a Rolex with a magnifier. The leather strap is a good quality leather and although inflexible at first has now softened after a couple of weeks. There was no need to punch extra holes in the strap despite her small wrist. Competatively priced.

Ive wanted this watch for quite some time and now I have it Im not disapointed. Great build quality and fantastic eta movement. Decided to go for the 38 mm version rather than the 42mm and in my opinion its better unless you have gorrilla sized wrists. Dial is lovely and clear and lume is very good at night.
