I’m very pleased with this watch. It’s extremely comfortable and light. It was easy to change the size of the bracelet and fits really well even though my wrist is very slim. It’s perfect for the gym although I like it so much, I wear it most of the time now.
The watch is what i had expected, for a everyday basic use watch that you do not worry about when you are doing heavy type of work.

This is an excellent watch, which does exactly as it says and just makes the daily life that much easier. The display is clean with the time displayed clearly and easy to read, and the day and date also neatly placed at the top to give you all the information you need at a quick glance, especially when signing papers. The combination of black and silver is very complimentary and looks professional, while still being gender neutral, looking just as good on my girlfriends wrist as it does on mine. Added features such as a stopwatch and alarm are also a welcome addition as they are not a necessity but are available for those days when you need them. Highly recommend this watch as a daily working watch, with its simple yet durable design, it will not disappoint.
Absolutely fantastic watch! I bought this to use as a back up watch when I couldnt use my Apple Watch going abroad etc and I love this watch so much that I have been wearing it every day instead of my Apple Watch! Its so comfortable, light and easy to use. It is a timeless piece of fashion and I would highly recommend.
Ive been wearing it everyday and I havent exactly been careful, Ive been catching it on things and it hasnt marked once, the face is scratch free and the strap is virtually brand new, very hard wearing!
Working out how to do the strap was a bit confusing for me as it doesnt let you lock it in an adjusted position unless its positioned between two links. Also, dont be shy, it doesnt break at all and will withstand some pressure when when trying to adjust etc.

Ive only had it a few weeks so cannot comment on reliability, however as its Casio Im sure itll be going for a good 10 years. Its a clean and stylish watch, thats also practical. My only criticism is the strap does pinch the hairs on my wrist a bit sometimes. Other than that its perfect. And excellent value too.

I previously had the plastic verson of this watch which lasted 4 years, this watch is a similar size. The colours of the display are nice and bold like the plastic model which I absolutely love about the watch. The strap is easily adjustable if you have a good pair of tweezers and it closes firmly. The time, date and alarms are straight forward to set up. The only downfall is the light which is not very bright but its enough to see in the dark. So far it seems to be fine with little contact with water but I havent dared to try it in the shower yet.

However I have found a weakness in the case lugs where the strap pins fit into, on the last A164WA-1VES I purchased earlier this year, the case cracked in this area and I will be returning the cracked watch now I have received the new one.

I much prefer a digital watch as in my job I need totally accurate timing. This is perfect because apart from day, date, hours and minutes, it has seconds too. It very neat and looks good with a dress as well as jeans. Its lightweight so not cumbersome. The only slight drawback is that the wristband is quite long and I have small wrists so I have a lot of excess, although suppose I could get it taken off by a jeweller. All in all, Id recommend this watch.

I love the watch, it is perfect! That retro look is just what I wanted and the quality of the product is great. However, I felt quite pressured into buying the 3 year warranty, in the end I said no but I felt judged due to my decision. This was by the goldsmiths boutique store in Meadowhall so not watch shop itself. On the whole though, a fantastic watch which I strongly recommend.

It was very well fitted the instructions were very clear on how to adjust times and dates. However no where in the instructions does it tell you how to adjust the watch to fit your wrist size, had to look that up myself.

I was only disapointed that my bracelet was not unjusted as I requested when I was checking out and now I need to take it to somewhere to unjust it and pay extra-" annoying"!
The watch is excellent. the only issue i have was with delivery. i logged onto the site and it said if i purchase within an hour and a half i can get next day delivery. it does not say that i had to pay for next day delivery. if it had said you can get next day delivery for a small fee then it would have been no issue. instead it came 2 days later. fortunately i hadnt left for my weekend away so was able to collect it. but it was slightly disappointing.

Well initially it looked great, but I have noticed that the clasp appears to be damaged and does not fasten correctly making it unsafe to wear as it is at constant risk of falling off my wrist. Not a very satisfied customer whatsoever!
Lightweight, stylish watch. The metal chain looks good and doesnt look cheap. It has many features that make having a digital watch worthwhile. Only drawback is those with big wrists may want to opt for a bigger size than this

I bought this watch to replace exactly the same watch acquired a number of years previously. I can confirm that it has kept excellent time over that period despite it being so inexpensive. The reason for replacement is that some of the chromium finish had been worn exposing a copper coloured metal underneath. The features are simple to adjust and, although not flash in appearance, it will serve as a very serviceable day-to-day watch.

Excellent watch, timeless classic. Does everything as it should, got mine adjusted at goldsmith boutique in the bullring in birmingham. Theres a stopwatch and an alarm function, although the alarm isnt very loud. It has a light on the display so the time can be seen at night. The style speaks for itself and for what you pay its excellent value for money!!

Im really pleased with this watch. The retro detailing has received a number of positive comments, and Ive found that this watch actually works well with formal workwear, as well as casual looks so long as you dont mind being the office hipster. The bracelet style strap can be adjusted yourself without having to go to a jewellers, although it is a bit tricky to get the hang off. Overall, this is a nice lightweight and versatile watch - it even has a light for telling the time in the dark.

I bought a Casio like this at a police auction with a wallet thrown in too for less than a fiver 35 years ago and it gave up the ghost last month. This model is the closest I could find and is practically a perfect replacement of the original. Have swapped the clasp bracelet to the old expander, which is more user friendly. It is actually losing slightly more time than it should so far and I will keep an eye on performance for another week. Losing in a week what it should be around a month. Not got round to checking stopwatch element yet. Alarm is fine though. Style is classic Casio from years ago, but still brilliant, especially at the price, which I noted went down the week after my purchase!!!! :

Smart and simple. Classic retro look. Lightweight on the wrist and easy to adjust the strap. Expecting it to take a bit of a beating as it is well built.
This watch defines smart casual. Can be worn with anything to give a formal/ laid back look. The Black dial on the silver gives it a really polished look. Fits well and isnt gender specific was would be suitable for anyone. Only letdown, is the backlight is very dim, but if thats not a deal-breaker, definitely worth a purchase.

A Casio classic that does everything a watch needs to. Smart enough to wear both casually and formally and is nice and thin so I it doesnt catch on your shirt. Easily adjustable metal strap is a nice touch. The only negative is that it could do with being made fully waterproof. Still at this price its a bargain!

Ok i have had this watch for the second week and so far its amazing i love it its my everyday to day watch i use it as an alarm as well its got a chronograph alarm and it works amazingly but it could be louder it has a night light and a stop watch it tells the date and time with seconds to conclude its a great watch and looks amazing as the style now is the casio classics range amazing watch

The watch is very stylish and the face is a perfect size to read and is not too big or too small. It is very good at keeping time and is multifunctional as it has the date, a stopwatch and an alarm. Classic casio! Great watch for the money and is just the job for work. The strap is a litle tricky to set up, but once in position its perfect and never needs adjusting. Unless you eat too many pies and you put weight on your wriss!

Watch appearance is very nice however the watch feels a bit tinny. The clip to adjust wrist size is extremely stiff and difficult to open and close in order to adjust size.
My teenage son is happy enough with it.

Received the watch promptly and in good condition, it didnt disappoint, exactly as described. I owned one as a child and still think they look just as good today, great to wear for work as its really light and doesnt get in the way. I have wanted one of these simple Casio Digital watches for ages, and it is just what I had hoped. Its reliable, water resistant Ive worn it in the bath several times, and has a very clear display - and contradicting my memories, the little light illuminates the display nicely when dark.

This watch is smart, it has a retro styling and clean lines to its stainless steel finish which I am sure will appeal to my grandaughter for who it is a Christmas present. The backlight will be a usefull feature as she is into scouting and D of E both of which involve overnight trips.
What not to like? Nothing at this time, I did wonder about its size for a girl but once it arrived decided that it would suit her fine.

Only downside - anyone Ive ever known to have a Casio, including myself, seems to accidentally set alarms for all hours of the day, It must be from leaning on the buttons on the side Im not sure. It doesnt bother me too much because I love the way it looks but I can understand how it would drive some mad.

So... its a Casio! It isnt the most glamorous of the watches and it is one of the cheapest. But, unlike most watches, it has something really valuable! It works very well!
